The DASO series squirrel-cage alternating-current electric motors are designed for driving mechanisms that do not require adjustment of rotation frequency (pumps, fans, smoke exhausters, etc.). The type of climatic design is U1, T2.
The DASO series electric motors are designed for working at AC frequency of 50Hz and voltages of 6,000 V or 3,000 V. The overall dimensions of the 3,000V motors should be the same as those of the 6,000V motors - without any loss in power. The stator current strength of the 3,000V motors is twice as large as that of the 6,000V motors.
At the customer's specific request, motors with other rated power, voltage and frequency specifications can be made on the basis of the above-mentioned machines.
Rated mode of operations is long S1.
The motor start-up is direct, ensured both at the rated voltage and at a 0.8 Urat. reduction in voltage at the start-up time.
The motors allow two cold starts in succession or one hot start. The time interval between subsequent starts is not to be less than three hours, the number of starts within the service time - up to 10,000 and not more than 500 starts within a year.
The mounting mode design is of IM 1001 type, the cooling mode - IC01A61, protection level - IP54, that of the terminal box - IP55, and of the external fan - IP21.
The motor is connected to the drive by elastic couplings. It has roller bearings with grease lubricant; their temperature is controlled by a thermal converter of resistance. The materials used for stator winding insulation are of class "B" or higher; the type 'Monolit-2' insulation is heat resistant.
The stator winding has six leads that are fixed on four insulators in the terminal box. The phases of the stator winding are star-connected. The temperature of the windings is controlled by six copper thermal converters that are placed in the stator slots.
The motors allow both right- and left-handed spinning. The change of the direction of spinning can be performed only in the quiescent state.
